Poems Sue - 11 July (but any date will do)

Today would have been your day, 
But for years no Happy Birthday to say… 
No presents to hide keeping secrets for a while ... 
But the memories of your birthdays fullfill me with a smile ...
Papa my thoughts of you are filled with love, 
And I know you will wait for me somewhere there above.. 
Papa, you always thought life was a blessing to be, 
A habit that you have passed over to me… 
That's why I want to give you a big "Cheers"!! 
Even if it's combined with silent tears …
