Poems Sue - Directions

If life was just a road …
I would like to walk straight ahead 
Just walk in one direction …
Walk until I am dead 

But for some kind of reason … 
I keep on changing my way
Feeling too restless …
For just one place to stay 

It's like I never seem to know…
What direction I have to choose 
Left or Right ..I dont care
I just always seem to lose 

Sometimes one step further …
Sometimes two steps back
Life can be a struggle …
With all kinds of attack

Some I could have avoided …
But how was I to know
Guess wisdom comes with years …
Something that still has to grow…
