My name is Rita, and I am graduated by the Universidade Federal de Sergipe - Brasil as a Portuguese teacher. I started with the mandalas because of my deep questions about the Universe that nobody could answer me. Since I have Reiki I started to be in contact also with the deeply of the mandalas and I decided to study about them. The answers are coming little by little by myself and the contact with the mandalas and Reiki as well.
"Mandala is a Sanskrit word that means 'whole world' or 'sacred circle', community, connection. Often referred to as the Circle of Life, Mandalas represent wholeness and are used in many forms, in many cultural and spiritual traditions, as symbols for healing, prayer and meditation. They appear in Gothic rose windows, sacred labyrinths, Native American and Tibetan sand paintings, and Hindu yantras. The Mandala is the wheel of time, the medicine wheel, the wheel that turns and spins, the face of the clock, the astrological chart, the depiction of the earth, an image of the outer universe and your inner universe. Mandalas can be found everywhere. Once you start to look, you will see them all around you.
